Woodworking has been part of my life since childhood.
Red Sunset Hill Custom Furniture grew from my love of building, problem-solving, and working with wood — a love that started when I was a kid spending time with my dad in his workshop. Today, with over 20 years of experience, that same passion drives every piece I build from my shop in the Fox Valley area, serving clients throughout Appleton, Green Bay, and the surrounding communities.
The WorK
I love the process as much as the finished piece.
For me, woodworking is about more than the finished piece. I enjoy studying the material, working through the design, solving the challenges, and shaping something useful and lasting by hand.
That love of the craft is also part of my everyday life as a high school woodshop teacher in Wisconsin, where I help students develop the skills, confidence, and creativity that come from building something with their own hands.

WHY RED SUNSET HILL?
The name comes from home.
My wife, Abby, and I live with our five kids on a hill in the Wisconsin countryside, where we’re treated to some pretty amazing red sunsets.
It’s also where my shop is—a peaceful place to build, create, and bring each custom piece to life.
